Membership Application & Renewal

Our new board was introduced and voted on.  They will be sworn in next month. Thanks to all of them for volunteering.  And thanks to the outgoing board for all their hard work.

There was a nice turnout on Tuesday for the Vets project. An amazing 25 quilts were turned in for distribution to vets. Everyone is welcome to join in the fun the first Tuesday of every month from 8am to about 1pm at the VA Hospital.

Show and Share once again showed the talent that exists among the membership.  The quilts were amazing.  Please consider bringing in some of your finished quilts to share.

The September meeting featuring Shelley Swanland who gave us an amazing trunk show. She shared with us her quilting journey and showed amazing cathedral window quilts, or variations of the pattern.  Friday, she gave a workshop teaching a cathedral window sampler using her technique.  If you haven’t taken a workshop lately, you are missing out on a lot of fun.
