Membership Application & Renewal

There was a nice turnout on Tuesday for the Vets project. Everyone is welcome to join in the fun the first Tuesday of every month from 8am to about 1pm at the VA Hospital.

This month members turned in their challenge quilts. The challenge was to make a quilt between 18″ and 20″ with at least part of the quilt pieced with the theme “Reach for the Stars”. Members judged the quilts. First place went to Marilyn Miller, second Place to Liz Bartolomea and third to Theresa Terhar. The challenge quilts will be on display at the quilt show May 2.

Show and Share once again showed the talent that exists among the membership.  The quilts were amazing.  Please consider bringing in some of your finished quilts to share.

We welcomed guests with their opportunity quilt.  It was a beautiful quilt.  I hope everyone supported them.

Sandy Jewett was our speaker for the meeting.  She has a very interesting and varied background and showed us a sampling of some of her many beautiful quilts.
